CE-RISE at DPP4EU 2026

Driving Sustainability with Digital Product Passports and Digital Transformation: Bridging Regulation and Business

1-3 June 2026 / Brussels & online live streaming

Organised by EU projects DigiPass CSA, CE-RISE and EUMINE COST Action, and CEN/CELENEC JTC-24 .

The DPP4EU conference is a clustering event designed as a forum for experts from European collaborative research and innovation projects and other initiatives (both EU- and Member States- funded) working on various aspects of Digital Product Passports (DPPs). This event is dedicated to digitalization and sharing of material or product information & data for sustainability and circularity.

The conference aims to facilitate discussions on open questions and the exchange of insights regarding Digital Product Passports’ technical implementation, Standardisation of the data, role of IT infrastructures, implications for digital manufacturing, correlations with safe-and-sustainable-by-design (SSbD) frameworks, and digital business models.

Bringing together experts from EU-funded projects focusing on DPPs, SSbD, and materials modelling & characterisation, the conference will foster collaboration across different communities. Moreover, through lively debates, insightful discussions, and collaborative sessions, this event will explore pathways to strong materials digitalisation and means for establishing DPPs in different industrial sectors. A workshop on “Women in Materials Science and Digitalization” will take place in the frame of the conference. Additionally, three satellite focused clustering meetings on Battery Passport, circularity, socio-economic, and environmental impact as well as AI-driven and interoperable materials data for DPP will take place as the pre-meetings of the conference. We are working together to support sustainability and circularity, thus forging a secure and prosperous future.

DPP4EU is a scientific conference. We expect to consider technical contributions from projects. Each submission undergoes a review process to prioritize talks that will promote future cooperation among projects and drive actionable outcomes for digitalization and the future of DPP implementation. Accepted submissions should feature scientific advances or technical showcases, contributing to the conference’s mission of shaping the digital landscape of innovative product and materials development in the European common market and strategic advancements in digitalization.
