David Fitzsimons is Director or the European Remanufacturing Council in Brussels. Remanufacturing is an industrial process to extend the life of used products during which products are disassembled, repaired, tested and returned to use, as new. The sector has sales of approximately €30 billion in Europe and the Council aims to increase this to €100 billion by 2030.
